A bright and easy 4th of July Fruit Salad with fresh berries, banana slices, and a sweet honey-lime drizzle.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz strawberries, rinsed, trimmed, and halved
  • 1 pint blueberries, washed and drained
  • 3 bananas, cut into thick slices
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. Place the prepared strawberries, blueberries, and banana slices in a large serving bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk the honey with the fresh lime juice until smooth.
  3. Drizzle the honey-lime mixture over the fruit.
  4. Fold everything together gently so the fruit is lightly coated without breaking apart.
  5. Serve right away, or chill briefly until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • This fruit salad tastes best when served soon after mixing.
  • You can refrigerate it for a few hours before serving, but add the bananas close to serving time for the freshest look and texture.
