Instructions

  1. Toast the bread until crisp and lightly golden.
  2. Divide the avocado between the toasted slices, then gently mash and spread it across each piece. Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
  3. Place the pistachios inside a small food-safe bag and tap them with a wooden spoon until roughly crushed.
  4. Scatter the crushed pistachios evenly over both avocado-topped slices.
  5. Finish each piece with a light drizzle of honey and serve right away.

Notes

  • For a plant-based alternative, replace the honey with a small drizzle of maple syrup.
